The Food Freedom Program is a transformative journey designed to help women break free from the endless cycle of dieting, food shame, and self-criticism. This program offers a compassionate, step-by-step approach to healing your relationship with food and embracing the life you deserve—free from restrictive diets and full of self-acceptance.

What Makes this Program Different from All the Others?

1. Learn WHY You Eat

This program doesn’t start with food—it starts with YOU. The first half focuses on understanding the deeper reasons behind your eating habits. You’ll explore the powerful connection between your nervous system, stress, and emotions, uncovering the “why” before addressing the “how.”

2. Learn How to UNDIET

Say goodbye to restrictions—forever. This program teaches you to enjoy all foods without guilt or judgment. No more labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” You’ll discover how to trust your body and eat the way it was naturally designed to—free from diet rules and fear.

3. Learn from Someone Who Gets It

I’m not a fitness guru or a nutritionist handing out advice from the sidelines. I’m someone who truly understands the shame, fear, and struggle around weight. I’ve lost and gained 100 pounds three different times, and I know what it feels like to be stuck in that cycle. But here’s the difference: I’m not teaching from a pedestal—I’m in this journey with you. I’m working the program alongside you, feeling the same struggles and celebrating the same wins.

With empathy, lived experience, and a commitment to helping you succeed, you’ll have a coach who truly gets it and walks every step of the path beside you.

Let’s be real.

Most women aren’t looking for a bikini body.

We just want to feel good in our OWN body

The problem was; I was unhealthy.

This is a rare photo of me that my husband snuck at one of my highest weights.  I didn’t take pictures at this weight.  I was too ashamed

Seeing this picture for the first time felt like a punch to the gut.
I avoided taking pictures at this size—it was too painful and embarrassing. I had no idea someone had taken this while I was asleep. Looking at it now, I can still feel the heaviness of the emotions I carried at that time.
I wasn’t happy with myself or my body. I felt like a failure. Just a few years before, I had lost a significant amount of weight, only to gain it all back in what felt like the blink of an eye.
I couldn’t help but wonder:
  • Why couldn’t I stick to an eating program longer than a few weeks or months?
  • Why could I do so well for a while, only to suddenly lose control and eat everything in sight?
  • Why didn’t I have the willpower to just say no?
I thought there was something deeply wrong with me.
I spent my entire life caught in the dieting yo-yo—always chasing the next fad, convinced that it would finally be “the one” to fix me. I believed that once I figured out how to lose weight, I could finally start living my life and be happy.

In 2020, everything came crashing down. After years of hiding my pain, I hit a wall. I could no longer pretend everything was fine. I completely shut down, unable to function.

I stopped working and hired an assistant to take over my responsibilities. I didn’t leave the house. Most days, I sat in my loft, watching TV and eating candy bars, as the weight piled on.
Desperate to understand what was happening to me, I started seeing a therapist and was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. A doctor later determined that my struggles were deeply rooted in Disordered Eating. She referred me to a nutritionist, and together, these professionals tried to help me unravel the mess I was in.
Over the course of that year, I spent thousands of dollars searching for answers—trying to figure out how to feel better, how to function again, and how to show up in my own life. But the real breakthrough didn’t come from another diet or even traditional advice. It came from understanding the deeper reasons behind my struggles and learning a new way to live.

I began learning about dysregulated Nervous Systems, and it completely changed my perspective. It was like my mind had been blown wide open.

I didn’t have an eating disorder—I had a dysregulated Nervous System. For years, I hadn’t learned how to cope with the hard parts of my life. Instead, I unknowingly stayed stuck in a constant state of Fight or Flight until my system could no longer handle it. Eventually, it completely shut down.

Understanding this was the key to unlocking everything I had been struggling with. It wasn’t about willpower, discipline, or yet another diet—it was about learning how to calm and regulate my Nervous System so I could finally start living again.
My life today is overflowing with JOY! I’ve learned to truly love myself—all of me—including the messy, imperfect parts. I embrace being Perfectly Imperfect.

My body isn’t perfect, and I’m completely okay with that. I eat and move in ways that feel natural and supportive for how my body was designed. I’ve found true FOOD FREEDOM—no more dieting, no more obsessing.

Who is Diane?

Diane is a wife, mother of four, business owner, and entrepreneur who grew up in a small Arizona town alongside her 9 sisters and 1 brother. Her entrepreneurial spirit emerged early—at just six years old, she started her first business, selling squash from her family garden in a little red wagon. (She also turned a profit selling Little Debbie Cakes to her siblings—what a negotiator!)

A natural go-getter, Diane has always thrived on setting and achieving goals. She is an accomplished pianist with a degree in Music from BYU-Hawaii and owned her own piano studio for several years. Her drive extended into her career, where she became a top seller for The Pampered Chef over a decade, earning numerous Top Performance awards. For the past 14 years, she has been a leader in doTERRA, working her way to one of the highest ranks in the company.

Despite her many successes, Diane has openly shared her personal struggles with weight and self-image. For years, she battled an underlying belief that “something was wrong with me.” In 2023, she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, rooted in disordered eating. After seeking help from therapists, doctors, and nutritionists—and spending thousands in the process—Diane finally found relief by learning to regulate her nervous system. She discovered she had been living in chronic fight-or-flight mode, leading to shutdown as a survival mechanism.

The book and course tells Diane’s journey to rediscover peace and balance in her life. Through her honest storytelling and vulnerability, she shares the six steps that helped her embrace a Perfectly Imperfect life that no longer revolves around food, her weight and body image. Get ready to be inspired and empowered as you join with her on the transformative journey.
